Several months ago, I began gathering fabric with the intention of making a Christmas quilt for my son. 14 year olds can get on your nerves pretty regularly, so I figured he should have something to hang onto to show that I do like him..usually haha. Anyway, as Christmas approached, I let myself off the hook and decided to just give him the quilt top and finish it later. You may recall that I did this last year with my eldest son. That quilt top accidentally got packed up by the movers and put in storage - oops! ANYWAY, here's my younger son on Christmas morning
So my goal this month is to get this baby finished for my boy!

Love the ninjas :D
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goal this month :)
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt. I look forward to seeing it finished.
ReplyDeleteThe ninjas are great with the "throwing star" blocks. I have a lot of karate/ninja prints waiting for a project. You've got me inspired!
ReplyDeleteHa, I love that you gave him a preview of forthcoming attractions! Good luck :oD
ReplyDelete:) And I thought I was the only one who did things like this, so glad to know I am not the only one! It is good knowing there are other great creative minds out there....
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt! Lots of movement. I once gave my mother the fabric with which I was going to make her a quilt! It took me another year to get round to it... So yay to you for getting this far! xx JJ
ReplyDeleteIt has cool coloring...he will love it and you can do it!
ReplyDeleteI'm heading in now to gather up fabrics for my next project.....already warned hubby that I was going to the kitchen table to cut.
